“Meet
Our Pastor”
Heritage Church of the Nazarene is pleased to
introduce to you our new pastor, Rev. Rick McClain, affectionately known as
“Pastor Rick.” Here he is shown with his wife, Deb, at his Doctorate graduation
at Beeson Divinity School, June 2010.
Pastor Rick comes to us while he is still
serving as Vice President of Deaf Online University, an online training
opportunity for the Deaf to enhance their knowledge of the Bible, and to their
ability to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He should lead.
He is a graduate of Gallaudet University,
Nazarene Theological Seminary, and Mid-America Nazarene University. His hobbies are Baseball and golf. He loves being with his family.
Pastor Rick and his wife, Deb will celebrate 35
years of marriage in November 2011. Together
they were blessed to raise two girls, Debbie and Diana who, in turn have
blessed their parents with three grandsons. Their eldest, Debbie, along with her husband,
Rev. Stephen Hause have two sons – Christian David and Andrew Jackson. Diana,
who lives with the McClain’s in Calera, AL, has one son, Bradley Allen McClain.
At Heritage, we are elated to have the McClain’s
in the pulpit. We invite you and your
family to visit our services and to meet with the McClain Family, and to see a
New Thing Beginning at Heritage Church of the Nazarene.
